Keith Kuennen

Vice President - Iowa

Keith is the General Manager at Concrete Supply for the Iowa operations. He graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Industrial Technology emphasizing in Total Quality Management and started working in the agricultural feed industry right out of college. Keith worked in the feed industry managing plants throughout the Midwest for about three years. He then moved to West Des Moines and worked with a heavy highway and commercial construction company for 10 years before beginning his career in the ready-mix concrete industry in 2005 where he managed Concrete Supply.

As the General Manager of Concrete Supply, Keith's responsibilities include sales, estimating, overseeing production operations, and hiring. Keith makes it a priority to stop on the job sites and be in constant communication with the plants and drivers. This hands-on approach is reflective of the entire Concrete Supply management team and company philosophy.Since 2009, Concrete Supply has seen significant growth of which Keith has been a big part by developing customers and ensuring quality performance from sales to delivery.

Keith is the former President of the Iowa Ready Mix Concrete Association and continues to give back to the industry by participating in several committees within the organization. His passion not only for his day-to-day activities but for the industry is evident in everything he does. He thrives on the daily challenges, problem solving with teams and the chase of the next job.

Keith was one of nine kids that grew up in Northeastern Iowa on a farm and now he and his family continue to live in West Des Moines, Iowa. His biggest passion in life besides his family are all things IOWA STATE CYCLONE!
